Lisa (Regello) Simoni, 91, entered into rest on September 9, 2009 in Manteca, California. She was born on December 16, 1917 in Danville, California. She is survived by her husband Gilbert Simoni, daughters Sandra Helm Gordon (Tim), and Barbara Helm  Yarbrough both of Stockton.

She was blessed by one granddaughter Chelsea Gordon of Sacramento. Her one surviving sister is Dolores Camara of Stockton. Lisa will be missed also by her 9 nieces and nephews, step children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her 3 siblings; Elveda Borras, Marjorie Dickman, and Edward Regello. Lisa was a resident of Manteca for over 50 years.
 
Lisa retired as a secretary for the State of California at California Youth Authority. She was past president of YLI at St. Anthony’s. When her daughters were growing up she was active at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church of Manteca. She was a past member and past secretary of Stockton Singles group. She enjoyed dancing, reading, and especially her day trips to the local casinos. She was well known for her stylish dress and her artistic abilities. Lisa stayed very active and supportive with her family; she loved them dearly. Lisa will be remembered as a beautiful woman outside as well as inside. She will be greatly missed.
 
Mrs. Simoni’s services are being handled by P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Home of Manteca. A memorial gathering will be held in her honor on Monday Sept. 14,  at 1 p.m. at The Camellia Gardens Club House on Yosemite Avenue in Manteca.
