Luis Cuellar Sr. passed away peacefully at his home in Stockton, California in the presence and comfort of his family.
   Luis is survived by his children, Luis Cuellar Jr., Stephanie Cuellar and Nicole Cuellar, also eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.  He is also survived by his three remaining siblings, sister Helen Aguirre, Dolores Cuellar and brother Joe Cuellar.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Higinio and Soledad Cuellar, sisters Isabel Munoz and Frances Zaragoza, brothers Angel Cuellar and Higinio Cuellar Jr.  He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
   Luis graduated from Tracy High School, class of 1958.  He enlisted in the US Navy in April of 1962.  He served aboard the aircraft carrier USS Constellation CVA64 during his enlistment.  His ship was instrumental in the initial engagement of the Vietnam conflict in August 1964 off the Tonkin Gulf.
   After his enlistment he continued serving his country by joining his brothers Angel and Joe, being employed at the Defense Depot Tracy for thirty years plus.  He retired from the depot in 1993.
   Luis enjoyed listening to his Oldies music, he played alongside his brother Joe on the fast-pitch softball circuit, having won the city championship in 1972 with the "61 Club."  He loved the San Francisco 49ers.  He was an avid Niners and Giants fan.
   Luis will be laid to rest at Tracy Cemetery with Honors in Little Arlington.  He will be truly missed by all of his family and so many friends.
