Luis Manuel Raygoza, 69, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 27, 2009, just one day before his 70th birthday. He was born August 28, 1939 in él Refugio, Mexico to the late Natibidad and Juana Raygoza. A resident of Ripon for over 25 years he worked as a farmer his entire life before retiring nearly 8 years ago. He leaves behind his loving wife of over 38 years, Adela Raygoza, their children: Raquel, Lourdes, Agustin, Ana Isabel, Horacio, Monica, Rebecca, Victor and Alex. Siblings, Luis Raygoza and Basilia Raygoza. He was also blessed with 17 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

Manuel was a devoted husband and truly the greatest father and grandfather anyone could ever ask for. An easy-going man with high morals and a big heart. He got along with everyone and was a dear friend to many. He never spoke a foul word about anyone and was always ready and willing to lend a helping hand.

Mr. Raygoza was an extremely hard-working man; always keeping himself busy. His love for agriculture and the great outdoors gave him pride in keeping his yard looking beautiful. He also loved to cook and tend to his garden; taking special care and growing only the best tomatoes and vegetables for his cooking.

Manuel will be dearly missed by all his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Antonio Raygoza and Albino Raygoza.
