Malachi Vincent Zaklan was born on February 1, 2010 in Modesto to Malory & Justin Zaklan of Ripon. He passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 23, 2011 at St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Stockton; he was only 15 months old.

Malachi was adored by his parents, Malory & Justin Zaklan, and his sister Siana Elizabeth Zaklan, all of Ripon. He was cherished by his grandparents Mark & Kim Zaklan of Ripon, Jeff & Crystal Jenkins of Clovis & Thomas Smith of Murphy’s; his great-grandparents Mike & Diana Zaklan of Linden, Michael & Patricia Teller of Elk Grove, Victoria Teller of Stockton & Paul Smith of Escalon; and his aunts & uncles; Thomas Zaklan of Hawaii, Stephani Smith of San Diego, Dustin Smith of Ripon, Starleen Smith of Ripon and Rocky Smith of Clovis.

A time of visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 27, 2011 from 3 to 7 p.m. at Deegan Ripon Memorial Chapel. Please join the family for a Celebration of the 478 days they had with Malachi; it will be held at Calvary Reformed Church in Ripon on Thursday, April 28, 2011 at 10:00 a.m., burial will be private.
