Marciana T. Gacutan, 82, of Lathrop CA, passed away on March 6, 2014.
   Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. on March 11, and March 12, 2014 at Park View Cemetery & Funeral Home in Manteca CA.  The funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on March 13, 2014 at St. Anthony of Padua in Manteca CA. Burial will follow the funeral at Park View Cemetery & Funeral Home.
   Marciana was born in Bugallon, Pangasinan, Philippines on April 26, 1931.  She graduated from Lingayen High School and continued on to receive an Associates Degree from Merritt College.
   Marciana was married to Domingo Gacutan on July 27, 1952; they were married 22 wonderful years and had 11 children together until his passing.
   Marciana worked as a dietician for 38 years.  She enjoyed ballroom dancing, casino trips, and spending time with her family.  She was also actively involved in several Filipino and Catholic Church organizations.
   Marciana is survived by her children George, Danilo, Reynaldo, Damian, Minda, Mario, Emily, Miriam, Monet, and Eugenia, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters Teotista Maza, Benita DeGuzman, Juanita Castillo, and Modesta Sarmiento, brother Leoncio Torio, and other family and friends, both in the United States and the Philippines.
   Marciana is preceded in death by her parents, Feliciano and Felipa Torio, husband Domingo Gacutan, and son Lamberto Gacutan.
   The family wishes to extend their gratitude to her family, friends, and the Community Hospice of San Joaquin for their support in her final days.
