Margaret Mary Silva, 77, entered into rest on November 13, 2011 in Stockton, California. She was born July 23, 1934 to Mr. and Mrs. John and Josephine Vierra. She is preceded in death by her parents as well as her husband Joe J. Silva and her brother John Vierra.

Mrs. Silva is survived by her daughters Lucy Smith and Marlene Mello both of Manteca. She was blessed by three grandchildren Melissa Mello, Rachel Strmiska and Aaron Smith. She has two great-grandchildren Larissa and Anessa. In addition, Margaret has three surviving brothers Joe Vierra, Manuel Vierra and Ed Vierra.

Margaret was a bookkeeper for Raymus Real Estate for over 20 years. She was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church where she was involved with the Legion of Mary. She loved playing Bingo, crocheting and catching up on the latest drama on her soap operas. She enjoyed the simple things in life, like a great cup of coffee and fine chocolate. Margaret will be remembered as a reserved woman with a loving heart.

P.L. Fry & Son is honored to be serving the Silva family. A visitation will be held on Wednesday November 16, 2011 from 1:00 pm – 6:00 pm held at P.L. Fry, 290 N. Union Rd., Manteca. A Rosary / Mass will be held on November 17, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. held at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, 505 E. North St., Manteca. She will be laid to rest at St. John’s Catholic Cemetery.
