Margaret “Peggy” Magnan entered into eternal rest on January 19, 2013 in Manteca.

She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Edmond “Ed” Magnan; daughters Jennifer Magnan Jimenez (Damon) of West Sacramento, and Kathy Magnan-Rodgers (Allen) of Elk Grove, CA, three grandchildren – Devin Jimenez, Garrett Rodgers, and Morgan Ashley Rodgers, brothers – Bill Pitschner (Dottie) of Castro Valley, CA, Edward “Tony” Pitschner (Linda) of Noxon, Mt., as well as many nieces and nephews.

Peggy was an active member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Manteca where she was involved in the choir, bell choir, the Prayer Shawl Ministry, Ministry of Caring, and served as a Eucharistic Minister during Mass. Peggy was a woman of faith, a loving wife and mother. Her credo was God, husband, and children in that order.

A memorial Mass will be held at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 505 E. North St., Manteca, at 10:30 a.m. on Feb. 1, 2013. The rosary will be prayed at 10 a.m. before Mass.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, a gift in memory of Peggy be made to your favorite charity or to the Ministry of Caring at St. Anthony Parish.
