Margarette Brenda (Bigg) Bliss was born in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, Canada, on February 7, 1929. She died from a stroke on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at Manatee Memorial Hospital, Bradenton, FL.

Margarette attended London Bible Institute, London, Ontario, Canada. She graduated from Gordon College in Hamilton, MA, with a BS. Margrette met her husband Philip Bliss in Schenectady, NY. They married on June 12, 1954. They have two children, Lori (Bliss) Dillard (Kent), and David Philip Bliss (Lisa). Both reside in California, and there grandchildren Tyler, Alexis, and Nathan.

A service will be held on Friday, February 22nd, at 10:00 a.m. at Church of the Palms in Sarasota, FL., and at a later date in Stockton, CA.
