October 17, 1946-November 24, 2012
Menchaca

Margarita Menchaca, 66, entered into rest on November 24, 2012 in Manteca, CA. She was born on October 17, 1946 in Mexico. She has been a resident of Manteca since 1989.

Mrs. Menchaca is survived by her beloved husband of 46 years Jesse Menchaca. She has four loving daughters Zinnia Menchaca-Navarro, Margaret Menchaca, Lorraine Menchaca, and Yvette Menchaca-Ortiz. She was blessed with 10 grandchildren Beto, Cassandra, Ashley, Rick, Alexandra, Shay, Amber, Mario, Bainan, and Brixton and one great-grandson Josiah. In addition Margarita is survived by many siblings as well as many other extended family members who she loved dearly.

Margarita loved beauty and all that came with it. She was a Cosmetologist by trade and retired after 40 years of service. After retirement Margarita moved to Manteca, where she called home for the past 23 years. For a short time she worked for MUSD as a yard supervisor for Great Valley School where she enjoyed spending time with the children daily. She was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church of Manteca where she enjoyed The Teen Mass. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, traveling and listening to music. Margarita was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She has an indescribable unconditional love for her grandchildren; they were the loves of her life. She was extremely generous to her daughters as she supported them in their life goals and dreams. Margarita was fun to be around as her spunk and enthusiasm never went unnoticed. Her determination, her strong-will and her loving humble heart was a perfect balance of what a mother and grandmother should be. Her generosity of love will never be forgotten by her family and friends. She will be missed.
