Maria Dos Anjos Pascoal, 86, died Jan. 7 at Kaiser Hospital in Manteca.

She was born March 15, 1922, in Horta Faial, Azores.

Maria was a Manteca for 40 years

She was preceded in death by her husband Late Jose Silveira Pascoal and parents Antonio and Mary Pereira.

She is survived by children George Pascoal Sr. and wife Dolores of Modesto, Fernando Joe Pascoal of Manteca, Fatima Rennie and husband Tom of Shingle Springs, and Mary Morris and husband Albert of Manteca; one sister and one brother; grandchildren     Tony Pascoal, Joaquin Pascoal, George Pasocal Jr., Joey Pasocal,    Joshua Pascoal, Andrea Pascoal, Tom Rennie Jr., Michal Rennie, Eric Rennie, Monica Rennie, and Jennifer Morris; and 12 great grandchildren.

She was a homemaker for over 68 years. Maria was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, LUSO- American.  She enjoyed crocheting.

Visitation is private. Graveside service is Monday, Jan. 12, at 1 p.m. at St. John’s Catholic Cemetery, 17871 S. Carrolton Road, Escalon. Final resting place is St. John’s Catholic Cemetery, Escalon.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be sent to charity of choice.
