A kind, respectful optimistic lady; Esther had an impeccable work ethic. While raising her large family she managed Herbs Surplus in Stockton for over 25 years and worked at Manteca Food and Liquor for over 23 years, retiring just a few short years ago. She and her late husband Raul were faithful members of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church. Esther held family close at heart, she was a huge supporter of her children and grandchildren, never missing a game, special event or a family get-together. Esther was a wonderful seamstress and even better cook; one would always leave the house with a full stomach and an extra plate to go. Her home was always open to others; her warm nature and non-judgmental spirit always made others feel welcome and accepted. She loved the gentle nature of animals and enjoyed tending to her parrots and dogs. Esther will be remembered for her sweet nature and her love she displayed towards others. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
