Marilou B. Prasek, 86, went home to her Lord and Savior on Monday, December 23, 2013 in Stockton, California. She was born August 20, 1927 in Chicago, Illinois to Clarence and Mickey Beamer.
   She is preceded in death by her husband Bert Prasek. She leaves behind her children; Donald Prasek of Sunnyvale and daughter Karen Baum and husband Gunther of Manteca. She has two surviving grandchildren Taylor and Trevor Baum of Manteca.
   Marilou was a resident of Manteca, but her home was Sunnyvale. During early retirement years, she and husband Bert where avid travelers, traveling in their trailer was their passion.  She lived at Merrill Gardens for eleven years and it was there were she developed many friendships. She had a loving spirit and a gentle voice. She loved her family dearly and looked forward to their time spent together. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and friend. She will be truly missed.
