Marjoire Lois Nunes (Billigmeier) was born March 8, 1921 and entered into eternal life on April 5, 2013. She was born to Otto and Bertha Billigmeier in Lodi, California. Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Frank, her children, Kathleen and Frank Jr. and siblings, Stanley, Beverly Jensen, Noreen Wallior, and Bonnie Billigmeier. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Kay Billigmeier and twelve nieces and nephews. Marjorie was a homemaker, an avid reader and baker. Her famous “Aunt Marge” Cake is fondly remembered by all of her nieces and nephews. Her niece, Julia, continues to bake this cake in her honor for all family events.

Marge and her husband were Dixieland Jazz enthusiasts and attended festivals around the state. They were active members in the Ford Model A Club & traveled extensively with the club in their Model A. Both Marge and Frank also contributed time and talent to the San Joaquin Historical Society. Marjorie was educated in Lodi schools; she spent the majority of her life in Ripon on the ranch she and Frank developed. Frank embellished the barn over many years with found license plates and signs. It became a tourist attraction for those who traveled Highway 120.

Marge’s family is grateful for the care and kindness she experienced while living at Merrill Gardens. We are especially grateful for several nurses in the ER and the second floor staff at Doctors Hospital over the past few months when life became a struggle for Marge. At Marge’s request, no public service will be held. The family will have a private gathering to scatter Marge and Frank’s ashes in the Pacific Ocean. P.L. Fry and Son, 290 North Union Road is honored to serve the Marge’s family. For condolences to the family please visit our website at www.plfryandson.com search obituaries
