Marjorie “Margie” Johnson, 91, entered into the arms of our Lord and Savior Monday, March 10, 2014 in Manteca, She was born to the late Elmer and Elizabeth Levik in Truman, Minnesota on April 17, 1922. In Heaven, she joins her beloved husband Abner “Abe” and her son Scott Johnson.
   Margie leaves behind her children, Veryl Johnson, Kevin Johnson, Craig Johnson and Lori (Johnson) Ayala all of Manteca. She was blessed with three grandchildren, Valerie Ayala Martinez, Frankie Ayala and Aaron Cooper. She adored her two great grandbabies Miranda and Lea. In addition she has two surviving siblings, Charlotte Douma of Ripon and Janet Dalen.     
   She married the love of her life and shared 54 1/2 wonderful years. Margie moved out to California with her husband and children from Minnesota and has been a resident since 1961. She worked at what was known as Yosemite Grill as a waitress, where she made countless friends. Margie then stayed home to raise her family and travel in their RV with husband Abe and children. Her entire life revolved around her husband and her children, she loved her sons dearly and her daughter was the apple of her eye.  As a grandmother, Margie catered to her grandchildren in every which way. She loved her getaways alongside her daughter Lori, especially while traveling to Lake Tahoe or the ocean.  She will be remembered as a most loving mother, grandmother and friend. She will be missed immensely. 
   P.L. Fry and Son is honored to serve the Johnson family. A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, March 21, 2014 at 10:00 am at Manteca Presbyterian Church, 275 N. Main Street, Manteca, reception to follow. She will be laid to rest  alongside husband Abe at Burwood Cemetery, 28320 E. River Road, Escalon, California.
