Marshall Lehr
September 24, 1937 - April 28, 2014
Marshall Lehr bw

Marshall Lehr, 76, entered into rest on April 28, 2014, in Manteca, CA. He was born on September 24, 1937, in Texas, to the late Paul Lehr and Nellie Thomas. He joins his parents as well as his sister Dorothy Erwin, in heaven.
Mr. Lehr is survived by his loving wife of 56 years Norma Lehr. His beloved children are Michael (Lori) Lehr, Loren Lehr and Cindy (Ken) Schone. He was blessed by six grandchildren; Brian (Cara) Lehr, Danny (Jessica) Lehr, Christopher Lehr, Irving Hernandez, Steve (Rebecca) Sims, and Aimee (Ulises) Ochoa. He adored his six great-grandchildren Alannah, Hannah, Michaelah, and Madeline Lehr and Lillianna and Jacob Sims. In addition, Marshall has five siblings who survive him; Dolores (Don) Silva, Paula Briggs, David Lehr, Ronald Lehr, and Donald Lehr.
Marshall was a tinkerer at heart, and a contractor by trade, as he owned and operated American Air Conditioning for over 34 years in Manteca. Marshall lived life to the fullest; traveling the world looking for new adventures. He also enjoyed domestic travel, roaming with Norma in their RV. This ultimately led him to invent the Handrail for RV’s, which is used today in many models. He loved the simple things in life; a well-timed wise crack, a visit to Pismo Beach, and a challenging game of “42” (dominoes) to name a few.    Marshall was a proud member of the Morning Rotary of Manteca and The Gideon’s International. He was an outgoing man with a positive attitude, always caring and helpful to others with no reserve or judgment. His faith in God was extremely important and could be seen by all who knew him, especially at Calvary Community Church where he was a faithful member for many years. As a true leader, Marshall instilled his Godly values in his children and grandchildren. He was an extremely hard working man and a wonderful provider who cherished his family, demonstrating it daily through his unconditional love for each of them.
