Mary Ann Meninga passed away on September 20th, 2022, at the age of 71. She was born and raised in California with her older sister, Doris, and twin sister, Terry. In her youth, she enjoyed singing on the radio with her sisters, participating in the glee club, and being the school mascot. She graduated from Manteca High in 1968. Mary married Bill Meninga in 1974 and together they shared four beautiful children. She often said they were the greatest gifts of her life. In 1989, she accomplished her lifelong passion of becoming a registered nurse, which fulfilled her love of helping others. Throughout her later years, Mary enjoyed thrift shopping, traveling, and exploring her ancestry. She loved spending time with her family and her greatest happiness was watching her grandchildren and great grandchildren grow. She was adventurous and had a rambunctious spirit. Mary always fought for the underdog, saw the positive in every situation, and put everyone before herself. She will forever be remembered as “Grandma Mary!”
She is survived by her children, Amy Montano, Jodi Salgado, Matt and Billy Meninga, along with their spouses, sixteen grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Please join us for a celebration on Saturday, October 1st, at Stouffer Hall, 1000 Stouffer Street in Ripon from 3:00-7:00 p.m. All are welcome to attend.
