Mary Lou Campbell, age 91, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 5, 2018.

   She was born in  Custer County, Oklahoma to Glenn and Mary Lasley. She moved to Oakdale, California with her family at the age of 17. She became a medical assistant and worked in Stockton for 20 years. She moved to Manteca in 1964 and married the love of her life, Thomas Campbell. They were married 29 years. They loved camping, fishing, and traveling in their trailer around the United States. She was an avid book reader and loved a good crossword puzzle! She belonged to a Bunco Club for over 40 years, and would beat you at cribbage or pinochle without batting an eye!

   Mary Lou was predeceased by her loving husband, Thomas Campbell, her brother Everette Lasley, a sister Naomi Raff, step-son Jeff Campbell and her grandson Eric Ott.

   She is survived by her brother, Glenn Lasley Jr., her daughter, Carlas Culler (Bruce), a son Ken Nelson (Tonya) and a daughter-in-law Debbie Campbell. She is also survived by six grandchildren, Robert Ott, Paul Campbell, Bart Nelson, Bret Nelson, Debbie Campbell Macias and Kyle Campbell, 14 great grandchildren and one great-great grandson.

  The light of her life was her grandchildren and great grandchildren, as she was theirs.
