Mary was born in Brock, Nebraska to Mary and Charles Livingston. She was preceded in death by her older brothers Clifford, Ivan and Leston Livingston.

She is survived by her  daughter Sally L. Ambrose, of Manteca, two grandsons, Rick Ambrose of Jackson, CA, and Steve Ambrose of Manteca.  Four great grandchildren, Ricky and Kimberly Ambrose of Manteca, Jennifer Ambrose of Valley Springs, CA, and Steven Ambrose of Las Vegas, NV, and one great great-grandchild, Cora Lynn St. Clair of Manteca.

Mary’s funeral was held October 5, 2011 in Hayward at Chapel of the Chimes.
