Maxine Ilene Nielsen, 88, entered into rest on May 7, 2014, in French Camp, Ca. She was born on Aug. 3, 1925, to Alonzo and Elizabeth Waggener in Counsel Bluff, Iowa. In heaven she joins her parents, her husband, Ira Wallace Nielsen, many siblings and her adored granddaughter Natallia Layla Nielsen.
Maxine leaves behind her loving children, Gary Wallace Nielsen of Stockton; Gail Marie Pervere of Modesto and Debbie Ann Ford (Stan) of Manteca. She was blessed with six grandchildren, Jennifer Marie Arietta, Jason David Crawford (Adrian), Jaimie Jennifer Ford, Jessica Lynn Barstow (Brad), Justin Colt Ford (Rachelle) and Joelyne Amanda Pervere. In addition, she has 10 great-grandchildren; Nathanial, Nickolas, Noah, Patrick, Christian, Trenton, Ryder, Shanyan, Christina and Tyler.  Maxine also leaves her three brothers, Floyd, Kenneth and Bob Waggener. 
   Maxine loved her family dearly. She enjoyed watching old TV shows, like Bonanza. She would often pick up the latest magazines to catch up on celebrity gossip, and looked forward to announcing to her granddaughters the latest news. She enjoyed a good day of shopping with her daughter and granddaughter Jaimie, they were known as “Three Musketeers,” as they were inseparable.  Maxine loved her great-grandchildren and looked forward to spoiling them any chance she got. She will be remembered as a most loving mother, grandmother and great-grandma. She will be truly missed.

Fry and Son Funeral Home, 290 North Union Road, Manteca, beginning at 9 a.m., and a Celebration of Life immediately following at 10 a.m. She will be laid to rest alongside her husband at the San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery, 32053 McCabe Road, Santa Nella, Ca. 95322.
