Melvin Lowell Cantrell “The Big Indian”, age 71, entered into rest on November 12, 2013 in Carmichael, CA. He was born on January 3, 1942 in California.
  He is survived by his children, Dan Luper, Fred Cantrell, Betty Christen, April Garcia and Robbie Cantrell. He was blessed with 11 grandchildren, Jamie Luper, Leticia Christen-Saavedra, Albert Cantrell Jr., Kimberly Gutierrez, Anthony Cantrell, Donnie Cantrell, Steven Cantrell, Kevin Deweese, Shane Deweese, Katie Cantrell and Gabby Cantrell and 11 great grandchildren and one on the way.
  Melvin had a kindness that never went unnoticed. He had genuine love that was unconditional, toward his children and grandchildren. He felt blessed to have so many extended family members who cared for him and loved him deeply.
