Michael E. Morris passed away suddenly on Feb. 23. He was 61 years old.

He was born on Dec. 4, 1949 in Sonora and attended school in Columbia and Sonora. As a teenager he worked local cattle ranches, pack stations and movie sets, including driving the stagecoach for the TV series, “Tales of Wells Fargo”. Mike’s best times were spent with his family. He was known for his strength, kindness and determination.
