Born on May 10, 1963 in Worcester, MA., Michael James Morton, 59, entered into rest on November 21, 2022 in Manteca, Ca.
He is preceded in death by his parents Paul and Lorraine Morton and one brother Edward Morton.
Mr. Morton is survived his longtime companion Geneva Padilla, children, Michael G. Morton, Kyle G. Morton and Nicole Grigas, four grandchildren Kai, Daphne, Benjamin and Kaleigh. In addition, Michael is survived by his five siblings, Kevin Morton, Steven Morton, Laurie Clerico, Robert Morton and Billy Morton.
Mike was raised in Oxford MA. and attended local schools graduating from Oxford High School in 1981. He moved to California shortly after graduating where he worked in warehouse management for many years. He was a sarcastic, quirky man who enjoyed the simple things in life, relaxing at home, fishing with the kids and camping were a few of his favorites. Michael had a huge heart for animals where throughout the years he rescued many from hunger and going astray. Michael will be remembered as a devoted companion, a loving father and grandfather and a loyal friend. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
