Michael Panaite, 57, passed away on February 27, 2010.

He was born on May 31, 1952 in Romania to Ioana Pascu Panaite and the late Petru Panaite. Michael came to the U.S.A with his wife and son in 1983. Before moving to Manteca in 2000 he resided in the bay area for 17 years.

Michael leaves behind the love of his life and wife of 33 years, Gabrielle Panaite; his beloved son, Teodor Catalin and his beloved mother Ioana Panaite.

During his life his greatest treasure was his family and his dogs “Pick”, “Blackie”, “Bianca” and “Bebe”. Michael was a unique person who loved boating and fishing. He adored his family and he was so proud to be an American citizen, he truly loved the U.S.A.
It is with heavy hearts that we say good bye to him. He will be dearly missed by his family and by all who knew him. God Bless!

Arrangements are under the direction of P. L. Fry & Son Funeral Home, 290 North Union Road, Manteca. Visitation & services will be held on Friday, March 5, 2010. Visitation will at 9 a.m. followed by a chapel service at 10:30 a.m. Michael will be laid to rest at East Union Cemetery.
