Michael Robert Hahn was born May 9, 1951, in Stockton, CA, to Leonard L. and Lavina Hahn.
He passed away on May 26, 2019, in Manteca, CA, leaving behind his son Michael Robert Hahn II, his two grandchildren Kaitlyn and Liam Hahn, his mother Lavina Hahn, and his sister Geraldine (Paul) Ely.
He was preceded in death by his father Leonard L. Hahn and his brother Thomas E. Hahn
Michael grew up in Manteca and attended local schools. His work life included fixing cars and driving trucks. He could fix anything-cars, motorcycles, tractors, small appliances, and most anything else. He loved to tinker and make things work. Customizing and driving “muscle cars” were particular passions. A beautiful day would beckon a ride on his motorcycle. Indoors one would find him watching football and Nascar.
He loved his grandchildren and always looked forward to their visits. He loved animals and would always have a pet dog or two.
Visitation is Monday, June 3, from 11:00-11:45 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 6060 Northland Road, Manteca, with the funeral service starting at 12:00 noon. Burial will follow at East Union Cemetery, 1035 N. Union Road, Manteca.
