Micheal A. Moller-Fisher passed away suddenly on Wednesday, March 17, at St. Joseph Medical Center in Tacoma, WA. Micheal was born on May 30, 1966 in Manteca, to Adrianus and Wilhelmina Vander Werff. Micheal was the youngest of 7 children. With the sudden passing of Adrianus, Wilhelmina married Max Moller. Max adopted Micheal on February 20, 1976. Micheal was raised in Manteca.

In April 1988 Micheal entered the Navy and was honorably discharged. After the military Micheal worked many years as a CNA, volunteered at two senior living homes and volunteered several times at his granddaughter’s school going on field trips, helping with parties and bake sales. Micheal will be deeply missed by his loving partner of almost 11 years Joseph R. Moller-Fisher of Tacoma, WA; his two step-daughters Melissa Fisher of Seattle, WA and Tami and her husband Jason Bishop of Tacoma, WA and his two granddaughters, Amelia Griffin (6 years old) and Ella Bishop (7 months old); his mother Wilhelmina; his brother Archie and wife Jossie Vander Werff; sister Wilma and husband Ray Gonsalez, sister Belinda and husband Ron Guzman; brother Pete and wife Kathy Vander Werff, brother John and wife Bonnie Vander Werff. Micheal is also survived by 23 nephews and nieces (Art, Jerome, Angela, Nathan, Rebecca, Gina, Nichole, Kristina, Monika, Alexandra, Harley, Ryan, Joshua, John, Garrett, Katie, Chris, Amy, Kimberly, Jess, Scott, Rick and JC) and 18 great nephew and nieces all living in the CA and NV area. Micheal was also preceded in death by his fathers Adrianus Vander Werff and Max Moller, his sister Joanna Griggs and his nephew Jeff Gonsalez.

Micheal loved his grandchildren, his cat figurines and his dog Shadow, the Seattle Seahawks, LA Angeles, camping, fishing and just taking a ride to the beach or Seattle. Micheal really loved decorating the house from Halloween to Easter. Micheal loved eating peanut butter right out of the jar using only a spoon, fried chicken, cheesecake and anything else I would cook for him. Micheal was happy when I went to culinary school, he told me my cooking tastes better now than before I went.

Rosary and Mass will take place on Friday, April 16, at 11 a.m. at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, 505 E. North Street, Manteca. Final resting will be in Tacoma, WA.
