Mike Hayes, 45, entered into rest on November 9, 2017 in Modesto, CA. He was born on August 13, 1972 in Brawley, CA. 
   He is survived by his wife of four years Linda Lawson-Hayes; father, Glen and mother, Janet Hayes; brother Patrick Hayes; niece and nephews, Crystal, Cash and Ryder and two great-nephews, Jordan and Randy.
   Mike was a resident of Modesto and grew up in Manteca attending Sequoia and Lincoln Elementary School and graduating from Manteca High School in 1991 where he played the timpani drum in the band. He had a great love for animals of all types. Michael had a vibrant personality where he was known around town as “Manteca Mike.” He enjoyed sports as he was an avid NASCAR and Redskins fan. Mike had a gentle soul, always demonstrating kindness and compassion to others around him.
   P.L .Fry & Son is honored to be serving the Hayes family. Visitation will be on Friday, November 17, 2017 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. held at P.L. Fry & Son, 290 N. Union Rd., Manteca.
   A graveside service will be on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. held at Park View Cemetery, 3661 E. French Camp Rd., Manteca, CA. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the Stanislaus County Animal Shelter, 3647 Cornucopia Way, Modesto, CA 95358.
