Mike Teunissen, age 56, entered into rest on November 5, 2012 in Manteca. He was born on December 27, 1955 in Stockton, California to the late Marty and Virginia Teunissen. Mike was a lifetime resident of Manteca.

Mike is survived by his loving wife, Sue Teunissen of Manteca, his children, Ginny Wertman and husband Andrew, Marti Teunissen and Stephanie Teunissen, all of Manteca. He was blessed with one grandchild, Drew Wertman. He is also survived by his siblings, Andy Teunissen and Nancy Teunissen both of Manteca and five nieces and nephews, Heidi Santino, Joanna Fonseca, Wisper Moorehead, Terry L. Davis and Anton Teunissen; and six great nieces and great nephews.

Mike worked in

construction for 26 years, most of those years with P and R Silva Construction. He also operated Marty’s Christmas Tree Lot during the holiday season. He was an avid San Francisco Giants and 49er fan. He enjoyed camping and fishing. The family said, “He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend to many.”

PL Fry and Son Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Teunissen family. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at PL Fry & Son Funeral Home, 290 N. Union Road, Manteca. Final resting place is private.
