Mildred was known to family and friends as Midge. She was a nurse for many years working for various facilities, including Majestic Pines Care Center in Hayward. She was a faithful Christian and a member of Valley Baptist Church of Castro Valley. She was a talented artist and had a gift in playing the beautiful sounds of the piano. She loved the suspense of a scary movie and enjoyed the drama of a romance novel written by Nora Roberts. She had a beautiful voice and loved to harmonize with her daughter Sherry. Midge enjoyed cooking, gardening and spending time with her late dog Max. She loved visits from her family and cherished quality time with her children and grandchildren. Her big personality was always a magnet for others.  Her loving heart, silliness and zest for life will never be forgotten. She will be deeply missed.
