Millie Lyberger passed away at her home on February 1, 2025 due to lung failure. She was just 2 1/2 weeks shy of her 81st birthday.
Millie was born on February 19, 1944 in Stockton, CA to Clyde and Mildred Seidner, the first of two children, her brother, Jack coming along when she was 14. Millie grew up on a farm outside Manteca, going to Summer Home School and graduating from Manteca High in 1962.
Millie worked in several administrative and clerical positions, including supervisor for Accounts Receivable at King Bearing in Stockton, before finally becoming a bookkeeper with Tuff Boy Trailers where she remained until retirement. Millie met Jim Lyberger in 1978 and after a 6–year courtship, Millie and Jim were married on August 17, 1984 at their home in the Wetherbee Lake subdivision southwest of Manteca.
Millie and Jim enjoyed traveling all over the U. S. and abroad, dancing, and entertaining. They loved hosting parties and many big celebrations were held at their home. Millie loved all kinds of social activities. She also had a blast on trips and other outings with her girlfriends from her school days who she remained close to all her life.
Millie is predeceased by her husband Jim and her parents, She is survived by her brother Jack Seidner, her stepdaughter, Lynne Mullins, her stepson, Robert Lyberger, as well as Jim’s grandchildren and great grandchildren, and all her dear friends who will miss her cheerful, fun, and delightful self.
In lieu of flowers, gifts may be given in her name to Hospice of San Joaquin. A Celebration of Life will be held at an undetermined future date.
