Monette Vest, a longtime resident of Manteca and retired school teacher, passed away on September 27, 2020 in Grass Valley, California.       She was preceded in death by David B.Vest, in 2011.        Monette is survived by her children, son Brian Vest, wife Judy and granddaughter Gloria, daughter Donna Dunbar, grandchildren Jesse, Jerry, Jolene, Jamie and three great-grandchildren and daughter Carol Thompson, and husband Charles Thompson.     
   Based on her wishes there will be no memorial service.  If you wish to make a donation in her memory, please donate to Saint Paul's United Methodist Church of Manteca.
