Mozella “Ann” Murphy-Winbush was born on April 13, 1960, in Martinez, CA,
was called home to be with the Lord March 6, 2013.

She was the daughter of Dutchess Jackson, who preceded her in death.

Ann graduated from Logan High School on Union City. She had a career working for the State of California as an Office Technician.  She was an avid member of the Bay Valley Corvette Club and participated in community events and a host of volunteer work.

Her love for Christ was her trademark, and she could always be found praying for others and encouraging them in the Lord.  Her contagious smile and zest for life to the fullest each day, will be sorely missed.

Ann is survived by her husband of 27 years, Elbert Winbush, her children, Persephone Murphy, Shawnasy Allison, Erika  Winbush, and Elisa Winbush. Her grandchildren, Sontee, Robert, Valaila, Khaliah, Aviana, Princess-Kamari and her sisters, cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.

A private viewing for family will be held at C.P. Bannon Mortuary on Wednesday, March 13, 2013. Her home-going celebration will also be held at C.P. Bannon Mortuary at 6800 International Boulevard, Oakland, CA 94621 on Thursday, March 14, 2013 at 11:00 am, followed by graveside services at Rolling Hills Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 4100 Hilltop Drive, Richmond, CA 94803.
