Nancy Ann Golembeck, 62, entered into rest on May 29, 2011 in Stockton, California. She was born on July 2, 1948 in Modesto, California. She joins her Mother in heaven Elizabeth Golembeck. She is survived by her father Matthew Golembeck. Her siblings are Mary Joe Merrell of South Carolina, Matt Golembeck of Manteca, and Tom Golembeck of Manteca. She was blessed with numerous nieces and nephews who she loved dearly. Nancy grew up in Manteca and attended Manteca High School graduating in 1966. After high school Nancy went on to Fresno State University receiving her Bachelors degree. Later Nancy went back to school receiving her nursing degree through Delta Jr. College. She was employed by both Doctors Hospital of Modesto and Memorial Hospital for many years. Nancy loved to travel; at one time she was a member of a traveling club, traveling all over the world. Some of her favorite places to visit were China, Hawaii and Bermuda. Nancy was an animal lover. She loved raising basset hounds; their easy going temperament with their big droopy ears is what always attracted Nancy to their cute personalities. Nancy was at peace when spending time with her horses. She loved the calmness of the nature surrounding them and the excitement of riding her horses through the county side. Family bonding times were always a treat for her; she loved good food and a great conversation especially when it came to spending time with her family. Nancy will be remembered for her strong loving personality. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Ms. Golembeck’s services are being held under the direction of P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Home of Manteca. A Mass will be held Tuesday June 7, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church – Escalon, Ca. She will be laid to rest at St. John’s Catholic Cemetery.
