Na’Nette D. Byers Beaman passed away on November 22, 2016, at the age of 53, after a long and courageous battle with breast cancer. 
   Na’Nette is survived by her three children, Nicholas Byers, Andrea Byers Clark, and Shelby Beaman; her mother, Katherine Backman; two granddaughters Kaylie Byers and Lea Clark; her sisters, Tammy Brady (Patrick) and Kristen Euhus (Josh); and nieces, Hannah Brady and Dana Brady.  She was preceded in death by her father, Gary Backman. 
   Na’Nette graduated from Manteca High School in 1981 and attended Cuesta College.  She was employed by Valley First Credit Union for more than 20 years, most recently as a Real Estate Loan Processor.  She loved spending time with her family, camping, trips to the ocean, and scrapbooking. She was a devoted Christian throughout her life and was most recently a member of Crossroads Grace Community Church in Manteca. She enjoyed volunteering at various American Cancer Society Relay for Life events and did so for approximately 20 years at events in Modesto and Oakdale, and most recently in Linden.  She was previously a member of the Memorial Medical Center of Modesto Triumph Cycling Team for cancer survivors.
