Nathan grew up in a time where it was possible to imagine a whole new world on a magic carpet ride. Where a lion, a meerkat and a warthog were able to open his eyes to love, loss and friendship...where the whole world opened its heart to ‘Hakuna Matata’. And very complicated life lessons and worries were effortlessly explained by a ‘silly old bear’.
For a kid who loved bike and board tricks, pranks and stunts how exciting it must have felt that Tony Hawk and Bam Margera proved skateboarding and shenanigans were actual careers.
Nathanial was an easy kid to love, he never met a stranger and was always able to see a person for who they were and never tried to change them. He was loved by his daughter Sedalia, his aunts, DJ, Debra, Diane, Cheryl, and Karen, uncles, Boydd, Jeremy, Josh cousins, Michael, Derrick, Krystal, Melanie, Boydd Jr. grandparents, Gina and Walt Renfroe, Judith Lamb, and Mary Spears parents, Angela Kee, Scott Trenchard, Frank Donally.
Nathanial had made many friends along the way, but he found his best friends in the most unlikely of places.
Savannah Cox, your friendship meant so much to him and from that we got his angel. Sammy Chastain and Trevor McConniel you were the brothers he never had, partners in crime, and confidantes. He loved you all so much, you were the brightest stars in his story.
Love, Nates Mom.
