Natividad (Nati) Carrillo passed away peacefully at her home in Manteca, on Monday morning July 18, 2011.   She was 81 years of age.  Born in Tecuala, Nayarit Mexico, she was the oldest of seven children. She very active in her community in Mexico and owned a specialty clothing shop for children. She met her husband, Jesus, and was married in 1958.  They moved to Manteca in 1960 to start their new life together.  

Natividad was a very kind and gentle woman who was devoted to her husband, two daughters and four grandsons.  She spent much of  her life making a great home for her family. She was a wonderful cook, seamstress and loved spending time with the family. She will be missed dearly by her loving husband of  52 years, Jesus, her two daughters, Angelica Carrillo Brooks (Jeff), Doris Carrillo-Dunn (Richard), four grandsons, Isaac Fernandez, Sean Hale, Ivaan Fernandez, Santiago Grijalva, as well as her sis-ters and brothers who reside in Mexico.

Mrs. Carrillo’s services are being handled by P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Home of  Manteca. A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 21, 2011 at 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm with a rosary following at 7:00 p.m. at P.L. Fry & Son 290 N. Union Rd. Manteca. A Mass will be held on Friday, July 22, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church 525 E. North St., Manteca. She will be laid to rest at St. John’s Catholic Cemeteryin Escalon.
