Nolan “Fayne” Cook went triumphantly to his eternal home with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ November 23, 2020. He celebrated his 97th birthday in his home five days earlier.
Fayne was preceded in death by his parents, Nolan and Lulu Cook, his wife, Lee, nine siblings, and two daughters.
He is survived by son, Michael (Sharron) Cook, his sister, Norene Lawley, brother, Ken “Nolan” (Deanna) Cook, three grandchildren, Christopher Cook, Eric Gregory (Debra) and Kayla Blanchard, six great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Fayne was a member of Calvary Community Church. He resided in the Lathrop area for the last 50 years where he spent many years volunteering at the Senior Center.
Fayne was known for his devotion to Jesus Christ, his quiet and humble spirit, his generosity and his sense of humor. Isaiah 41:10 and John 5:24-25 were favorite verses. Although he has left a hole in the hearts of all who knew and loved him, we will find comfort in our memories and knowledge that he was looking forward to seeing Lee again.
A graveside service will be December 7, at 1:00 p.m. at Park View Cemetery in French Camp which is handling arrangements. Masks required.
