Oran Edgar Griffin Jr. (Ed) who was born in Gilroy, California on Oct. 19, 1946 passed away peacefully with family at his side on May 7, 2010 at 9:45 p.m.
He is survived by his mother Delsia Griffin; two brothers Terry and Ricky Griffin; lifelong friend Barbara Griffin; two daughters Rebecca Amacker and Rachel Vigallon; son-in-law Johnny Vigallon; six grandchildren Jeyna, Stephanie, Stephen, Monica, Julia, and Madison; and three great-grandchildren Hailey, Sean, and Ethan.
Oran (Ed) loved fishing, racing, gardening and playing games like Uno & Sequence. He also enjoyed putting puzzles together and most of all Ed loved to BBQ and take his family out to different restaurants! He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Services will be held on May 21, 2010 at 3 p.m. at 220 Airport Way Manteca. After memorial family and friends are welcome to the reception at Johnny & Rachel’s house. The address will be provided upon request after the service.
