While living in Sonora, Orion owned and operated Myers Liquor and retired in 1988. Most recently he moved to Modesto 5 years ago to be closer to his family. Orion enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and bowling. He was on various bowing leagues in Manteca and Sonora. Orion found peace working with his horses training and riding them. He was very family oriented and enjoyed family get-togethers. He was a very creative man and fixing things was his area of expertise. To remember Orion is to remember him as a good neighbor, a kind soft spoken man who was very generous. He will be deeply missed.
