July 5, 1938-October 9, 2011

Patricia Ann Spanjersberg, 73, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, October 9, at her home in Manteca, surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 5, 1938 in Chicago, IL. In heaven she joins the love of  her life James Spanjersberg as well as her sister Susan McKiernan.

She leaves behind her children; John Poole and wife Carol of Oroville, Russell Poole and wife Kim of Shingletown, Kevin Spanjersberg and wifeVirginia of Oakdale, Vicky Hockett and husband Jimmy of Twain Harte and Walerian Spanjersberg of Stockton. She was blessed
with 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Patricia has six surviving siblings; Dennis McKiernan and wife Sharon, James McKiernan and wife Mariann, William McKiernan and wife Carol, Thomas McKiernan and wife Mari, Michael McKiernan and wife Theresa and Christopher McKiernan.

Patricia “Pat” was a retired cafeteria worker for the M.U.S.D. She enjoyed knitting, crochet and sewing. But, Pat was mostly known for her love of  BINGO which was favorite get-away. She was a dedicated “Red Hatter” who supported the American Cancer Society. Pat was a faithful Oakland A’s fan always cheering on her favorite team. Pat loved her family dearly and felt blessed by everyone who never left her side.  Patricia and James demonstrated an honest testimony of love, and passed on the same love to their children. Patricia will be truly missed, but she now joins her other half, James to dance in the clouds.
