Patricia (Patti) Alma Jones, 61, of Salida, California went home to be with her Lord on April 3, 2014.
   In 1990, Patti started teaching elementary school in the Manteca School District. In 1997, the family moved to Texas. Patti moved back to California in 2000. She was most recently teaching the fifth grade at Golden West Elementary School before becoming ill.  Patti will be remembered by those who love her for a generous spirit and great big smile.
   Patti is survived by her son, Derek Jones, daughter-in-law Katie, two granddaughters Anna and Lauren, as well as her brother Joseph.  A celebration of life will take place at Shelter Cove Community Church on May 3, at 11 am. 
   In lieu of flowers, please make a memorial donation to: Community Hospice or Golden West Elementary School, Manteca Science Camp (Patti loved going to science camp every year with her students).
