Pedro “Pete” Torres Jr., 54, entered into rest Friday, November 22, 2013 surrounded by his loving family in Modesto California. He was born on January 19, 1959 in Laredo, Texas to Mr. Pedro Sr. and Rosalia Torres.    Pete leaves behind his loving parents as well as his adored daughters; Rachel Wicklander and husband Adam, Victoria Torres and Brenda Torres all of San Jose. He was blessed with one grandbaby, Aiden Wicklander. In addition Pedro leaves siblings; Rosa Torres of Manteca, Gabriel Torres and wife Denise of Tracy and Patricia Torres and significant other Frank Milobar. Pete has seven nieces and nephews; Yvonne Lujan-Steglik and husband Michael, Nick Lujan III and wife Maritsa, Anjelica Cruz, Andres J. Lujan, Melanie Torres, Jennifer Torres and godson and nephew, Steven G. Walraven.
   Pete was a San Jose native prior to moving to Manteca. He worked in auto body for years until he finally was able fulfill his life passion of working at Bass Pro Shop. Fishing was his life, and working at Bass Pro was a dream come true. He met many friends while working and many people went to Pete for advice. He loved spending time with his family especially while watching a good Western movie. He enjoyed watching NASCAR and never missed cheering on his favorite teams, the Oakland A’s and Pittsburg Steelers. Pete loved his girls immensely and was proud of them. He had a true heart of gold and his kind sprit was felt by everyone around him. He will be remembered as a loving son, father, brother, uncle and friend.
