Pete Melchert 59, was taken by the Lord on August 2, 2011 in Stockton, Ca.

He was born in Stockton on September 24 1952 to Carl and Pauline Melchert. A resident of  Lathrop for nearly 40 years,  He leaves behind his only child Trina Melchert-Vaezi of Modesto, Three grand-daughters Jessica Uballe, Amanda Uballe, And Ariana Vaezi of  Modesto and two great grandsons Isaiah Rivera And Jamie Dean January III. He is also survived by his sisters Joann Thompson and Carlene Melchert. Sutter Street Memorial Chapel are handling the creamtion. May he rest with the Angels.
