Peter John Bolton, 69, entered into rest on Friday, July 10, 2015 surrounded by his loving family. He was born September 5, 1945 in Marysville, CA. In heaven he joins his parents, Eugene and Helen Bolton as well as his sister Anne Lawman.
   Peter leaves behind the love of his life, wife Cherylee Bolton of Manteca, his children, Robert Bolton (Jessica) of Elk Grove, Brian Bolton of Manteca, John Bolton (Lisa) of Salida, Sarah Bolton of Manteca and Mary Bolton (Brian) of Chico. Peter was blessed with twelve grandchildren, Stefani, Erek, Hailee, Makayla, Kayla, Nicholas, Jenna, Michael, Alison, Jason, Joshua and Damien.  He has three surviving siblings, Jeannie Slyman, Maddie Duke and Steve Bolton.
   Peter was a Vietnam War Veteran serving his country proudly through the NAVY. He was a Manteca resident for over 25 years and prior of Campbell. He retired as an electrician working for the San Francisco Airport. He was a faithful member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, where he was a Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed camping and fishing, especially visiting Mt. Lassen. He was selfless and his easy going sprit was felt by everyone. His love was unconditional and he was so proud of his children and their many accomplishments.  His grandchildren where the apple of his eye, he made them feel loved in every way. His devotion to his family was like no other. Peter was an amazing husband, exceptional father and a special grandfather. He had a true heart of gold, as everything he did in life was whole hearted and never judgmental. He will be remembered for his gracefulness and kind soul. He will be deeply missed.
   P.L. Fry is honored to serve the Bolton family. A Rosary/ Mass will be held on Thursday, July 16, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, 505 East North Street, Manteca, CA. He will be laid to rest privately at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Sacramento.
