She also was the founder of the single woman’s group at Cornerstone. Phyllis and her husband served the Lord through various churches for over 50 years. She was extremely involved with First Assembly of God (Manteca) where her husband was their associate pastor for over 15 years. She was a devoted wife always supporting her husband in all that he did. She was blessed with a beautiful voice traveling with the Bethanaires singing quartet. One of her fondest memories was singing together with her two children Sherry and Jim and with her husband; blessing many people with the gift of music. Phyllis was a servant to her Lord always caring for others serving them any way possible to bless their lives. She felt blessed to have 52 years with her husband Jim and many blessings to have such a legacy with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren; they meant the world to her.
