Rachel enjoyed her calling, sending out special correspondence letters to church members and other families in her community with messages of encouragement and hope. Rachel was a very caring lady; she spent many years caring for her ailing mother and father who both passed away within 18 months of each other in 2005 and 2007. She loved tending to her flowers and enjoyed gardening as she shared her home grown vegetables with neighbors and family members. Rachel loved her grandbabies as she would always brag about them in a proud grandmotherly way. Rachel always cared for her family as she made everyone feel as if they were wanted and welcome with loving arms. Rachel will be remembered for her selfless attitude towards others, her smile that lit up the room and for her beautiful soul.
