Rafael Aleman, 69, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, October 11, 2011 in Manteca. He was born on September 23, 1942 in Zacatecas, Mexico.

Rafael leaves behind his mother Rosa Maria Lopez of Mexico, his loving wife Lillian Aleman of Manteca, and his cherished daughter, Michelle Aleman-Gonzalez and husband Jason of
Stockton. He was blessed with 3 grandbabies, which he adored, Brandon, Andrew and Kathryn. He is the beloved brother of Esther Beccerra, Rosaura Reyes, Armorena Aleman, Marcos Aleman, Manuel Aleman, Alberto Aleman, Carlos Aleman and Joel Aleman.

Rafael was a truck driver for 40 years, formerly working at Eckert Cold Storage of Manteca. He was a dedicated and hardworking man, always putting his family’s needs before his. He loved his wife dearly and would grant her the world if he could. His daughter was his greatest admiration as he felt blessed that she made him a grandfather. He enjoyed traveling, especially back to Mexico to visit his mother, always caring for her every need. Rafael was a faithful Dallas Cowboys fan, always cheering his team on to victory. To Rafael family was #1; he was considered the “rock” of his family. He leaves behind many broken hearts and beautiful memories to keep his legacy going. He will truly be missed.

Mr. Aleman’s services are being handled by P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Home, 290 North Union Road, Manteca. A Rosary will be held on Sunday, October 16 at 7:00pm at P.L. Fry. Mass will be on Monday, October 17 at 10:30am, at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, 505 East North Street. He will be laid to rest at San Joaquin Catholic Cemetery, 719 E.
