Raquel Rankin-Reindel “Quel” was born in French Camp, CA on June 16, 1973 and departed on February 13, 2013. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, sister and friend. Survived by her parents, David and Anita Rankin of Stockton, husband, Andrew Jon Reindel of Manteca, sons, David Joseph and Jaysen James and her siblings Eric and Danielle Rankin.

She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents, her brother James Rankin and several aunts and uncles. In her young life, she touched many hearts and was well respected by the community. Quel worked for Kaiser Permanente for over 18 years where she advanced through the company and was currently the Service Unit Manager for the entire Central Valley Service Area.     She and her husband co-founded the Lancer Youth Wrestling Club in Manteca, CA. where she was known as “mom” to many of the youth. She was often found in a High School Gym taking stats, running tournaments or filming matches during wrestling season. When she wasn’t on the mat, Quel was in the stands rooting for the Manteca Jaguars Youth Football Program. She loved fiercely, laughed often and danced like no one was watching. Those who knew her quickly realized that friends became family and she would do anything for her family.

We celebrate her life with visitation on Tuesday, February 19 from 12:00-4:00 pm in the chapel of Frisbie-Warren & Carroll Mortuary with a Rosary at the Cathedral of the Annunciation at 6:00 pm.  A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday at 10:30 am at the Cathedral of the Annunciation with committal following at San Joaquin Catholic Cemetery.
