Raul was a butcher by trade and retired as a painter for Tracy Unified School District. He was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church and past president/member of the Charros Foundation. He valued his Hispanic traditions where he was a true “Charro Mexican Horseman” enjoying the ambiance of the music, the elaborate cowboy attire, and the gentleness of his horses. He was a selfless man who was wonderful cook as he loved to make burritos to feed the homeless. He was a simple, happy man who always had a smile on his face ready to tell the newest joke to family and friends. Raul had a bigger than life personality where he was always there for his children and grandchildren; he was the epitome of a true family man. His most precious memorable joys, were watching his grandsons play football and family get-togethers where he could catch up old times; socializing with food, fun and laughter. Raul will be remembered as a devoted husband, loving father, amazing grandfather, brother and friend. He will be deeply missed.
