Rhonda Luella Homer - Johnson, 58, entered into rest on November 5, 2010 in Manteca. She was a resident of Manteca for 40 years.  She was born on July 3, 1952 in Bismarck, North Dakota. In heaven she joins her father the late Ronald Homer.

 She leaves behind her mother Luella Helen Enci Homer.  Her loving husband and best friend for the past  eight years Kevin Johnson of Manteca .Her children are; daughter, Kandi Renee Hamman and husband, Robert of Manteca and son, Justin Scott Thomas Whiteley and wife, Katie of Napa. She was blessed to have 7 grandchildren; Robert Garza Jr., Emillio Garza, and Savina Alessandra Garza, Justin Wesley Whiteley, Madilyn Whiteley, Giovanni Whiteley and Caterina Whitley . In addition she is survived by her brother Dale Walter Homer and his wife, Gail of Atwater and many extended family and friends.

 Rhonda was a giving person with a heart of gold. She was caring and unselfish. Her Christian faith was never left unnoticed God was in her every words. She prayed for everyone she knew. Rhonda felt as though every moment in her life was a blessing. Rhonda kept journals she was an avid writer she wrote poetry and one of her favorite poems was published. Rhonda was a faithful member of the Manteca Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed spending time with family especially her puppy Chiquita. She had a love for music, Christian, Rock ‘n Roll, and especially duets. She would move to any tune. She will be remembered as an opened hearted person with a great outgoing personality.  She will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to have her in their life.

 Mrs. Johnson’s services are under the direction of P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Home, 290 North Union Road in Manteca.  A Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2010 at 1 p.m. at Burwood Cemetery, East River Road, Escalon.  An online guestbook/tribute wall is available at  www.plfryandson.com (search obituaries) for condolences and special messages.
