Born on July 27, 1936 in Sacramento, CA, Richard “Dick” Leonard Aubrey entered into rest July 8, 2018 in Manteca, CA.

   Dick is survived by his wife of 40 years Dorothy Aubrey, sons David and Darryl Aubrey, daughters Diana (Patterson) Aubrey and Donna Guidice.  Dick has six grandchildren, one granddaughter, Julie Patterson and five grandsons, Jerry Patterson, Bryan and Albert Guidice, and Calvin and Mark Aubrey. Dick also has three great-grandsons, Chance and Canan Patterson and George Guidice, as well as an extended large family.

   Dick grew up in Sacramento where he went to school prior to enlisting in the Air Force in 1954. During his four years in the Air Force he was a radio technician at the SAC Air Force base in Montana. In 1958 Dick returned to Sacramento to attend college.  In the mid 60’s Dick moved to San Jose where he worked in the Silicon Valley Electronics Companies.  For 17 years he owned his own electronics repair company in the San Jose area. 

   Dick retired at the age of 60 and moved to Hollister where he lived for eleven years before moving to Manteca in 2007. Dick retired twenty-two years ago and spent those years enjoying traveling with his wife in their motor home.

   A graveside service will be held at the National V.A. Cemetery in Santa Nella August 3, at 1:30 p.m. with a celebration of life on Sunday, August 5, from 11-2 in the Lake View clubhouse, Del Webb Woodbridge, 2401 Morning Brook Drive, Manteca.
